Are you in tune with your adrenals & cortisol? It's the flight or fight glands on top of your kidneys that create energy for the body. Are you spending extended periods on cardio equipment? That can make it worse.  Adrenal fatigue is the layperson’s term for hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis dysregulation. This condition causes your body to stop responding to stress appropriately, leading to crushing fatigue, recurrent injuries, hormonal imbalances, weight gain or loss, and more. This whole idea of push, push, push through is a slippery slope. It's great to excel towards one's goals yet balance it out with rest & restorative consistent sleep. Eating clean, self-care & stress management play huge roles as well.
